今日（きょう）は、いつもの学習（がくしゅう）を３０分したあと、「ひなまつり」をしました。
ひなまつりは、日本の伝統文化（でんとうぶんか）です。学習者（がくしゅうしゃ）とボランティアが一緒（いっしょ）に、桜餅（さくらもち）を食（た）べながら、楽（たの）しいひとときを過（す）ごしました。
まず、ひなかざりにある、ひな人形（にんぎょう）や、道具（どうぐ）について、学習者（がくしゅうしゃ）が質問（しつもん）して、ボランティアが答（こた）えました。
次（つぎ）に、「えらんだものはなに？」ゲームをしました。ひなかざりの中からえらんだものを、質問（しつもん）して当（あ）てるゲームです。学習者（がくしゅうしゃ）のみなさんは、質問（しつもん）が、とても上手でした。
最後（さいご）は、「ひなかざりをならべよう」ゲームをしました。みんなで相談（そうだん）して、ひな人形（にんぎょう）や道具（どうぐ）を、正（ただ）しい場所（ばしょ）に置（お）きました。ボランティアより、よく知（し）っている学習者（がくしゅうしゃ）がいて、びっくりしました。また、日本文化（にほんぶんか）に、興味（きょうみ）をもってくれていて、うれしかったです。
ゲームをしながら、学習者（がくしゅうしゃ）も、ボランティアも、日本文化（にほんぶんか）を学（まな）びました。
日本では、５月１日から、新（あたら）しい天皇（てんのう）になります。そのとき、お内裏様（おだいりさま）の服装（ふくそう）が見られます。楽（たの）しみです。(F.I)
Today we held a “Hinamatsuri” or Dolls’ Festival, after studying for 30 minutes as usual.
“Hinamatsuri” is one of the traditional Japanese cultures
Our foreign members and Japanese members enjoyed talking while eating Sakuramochi, or mochi flavored with pickled sakura blossoms.
After that our foreign members were encouraged to ask Japanese members about the Hinaningyo or Hinadolls and gears on the tiered doll stand. We tried to answer them as much as we could.
Then we played a guessing game. Out of several picture cards showing the Hinadolls and gears one person picked up a card, and the rest of us had to guess which card the person has picked up by making some questions. Our foreign members were good at guessing the answers correctly.
Finally we played another game, “Let’s display Hinadolls and gears on the tiered doll stand. We discussed with each other and tried to put the cards on the right place. One foreign member knows better than Japanese members, which was a big surprise. Overall they seemed to be interested in Japanese culture.
Through the games foreign members as well as Japanese members could learn Japanese culture very well.
On coming May 1st, the new Emperor and the Empress are going to be enthroned in Japan, and we will have a chance to see both of them dressed in the traditional Kimono, like those of Hinadolls, which we saw today. We are looking forward to seeing them now.
