5月（がつ）20日（はつか）日曜日（にちようび）、9時（じ）３０（ぷん）に千歳烏山駅（ちとせからすやまえき）に23人（にん）が集（あつ）まりました。
つつじが丘駅（えき）でバスに乗り換え（のりかえ）、神代植物公園（じんだいしょくぶつこうえん）へ向（む）かいました。木々（きぎ）の新緑（しんりょく）が、青空（あおぞら）の下（した）で輝（かがや）いていました。
バラ園（えん）の5200株（かぶ）のバラは満開（まんかい）で、赤（あか）・白（しろ）・ピンク・黄（き）・紫（むらさき）がきれいでした。１時間（じかん）、バラ園（えん）や温室（おんしつ）をゆっくり歩（ある）いたり、写真（しゃしん）をとったりして過（す）ごしました。
その後（ご）、芝生広場（しばふひろば）で、お昼（ひる）ご飯（はん）を食べました。さわやかな風（かぜ）が吹（ふ）くなかで、ゆっくりご飯（はん）を食（た）べました。デザートもあり、手作り（てづくり）アイスも食（た）べて、満足（まんぞく）しました。
お昼（ひる）ごはんのあとはゲームをして、楽（たの）しみました。はじめに『猛獣狩り（もうじゅうがり）に行（い）こう』をしました。リーダーが言（い）った動物（どうぶつ）と同（おな）じ字数（じすう）の人数（にんずう）を集（あつ）めてグループになり、グループ内（ない）で自己紹介（じこしょうかい）をしました。
次（つぎ）に、『震源地（しんげんち）ゲーム』をしました。さまざまな動作（どうさ）を指示（しじ）しているリーダーを当（あ）てるゲームです。去年（きょねん）とは、ルールを変（か）え、リーダーを見（み）つける人（ひと）が2人（ふたり）になり、円（えん）の外（そと）からリーダーを見（み）つけるようにしました。
最後（さいご）は、木立（こだち）の中（なか）を歩（ある）いて、近（ちか）くにある深大寺（じんだいじ）へ行（い）きました。深大寺（じんだいじ）は733年（ねん）に建（た）てられた東京都（とうきょうと）でも2番目（ばんめ）に古（ふる）いお寺（てら）です。
お参（まい）りしたあと、深大寺（じんだいじ）バス停（てい）近（ちか）くで、全員（ぜんいん）で写真（しゃしん）をとり、バス停（てい）で解散（かいさん）しました。そのあとは参道（さんどう）を散歩（さんぽ）して、おだんごを買（か）って食（た）べたり、おみやげを買（か）ったりした人（ひと）もいました。
遠足（えんそく）に参加（さんか）した人（ひと）は、目（め）や舌（した）や身体（からだ）で春（はる）の一日（いちにち）を楽（たの）しみました。(Y.H)
We went on a field trip to Jindai Botanical Garden & Jindaiji Temple
On May 20th, Sunday, twenty-three members of us gathered at Chitose-karasuyama Station at 9:30 in the morning.
We went to Tsutsujigaoka by Keio Line and then took a bus for Jindai Botanical Garden. The fresh leaves of the trees were shining under the blue sky.
At Jindai Botanical Garden roses of various colors like red, white, pink, yellow and purple were in full bloom and very beautiful.
We spent an hour walking in the garden and taking pictures.
After that, we had a picnic at the lawn square, while a cozy, fresh wind blew.
We enjoyed lunch, dessert and homemade ice cream.
After lunch, we enjoyed playing games.
At first, we played “Mojugari ni ikou game” or “Let’s go hunting game”, where, when the leader calls a certain animal’s name, we have to make a group of the same number of the people as the number of the animal word’s syllables. After making groups we introduced ourselves with each other.
Next, we enjoyed “Shingenchi Game” or “Indian chief game”, where we make movements copying the movements of a leader and the player tries to identify who the leader is.
After the games we walked through the grove and went to nearby Jindaiji Temple.
Jindaiji Temple is the second oldest temple in Tokyo, which was built in 733.
After visiting the Temple, we took a picture of all of us and broke up at the Jindaiji bus stop.
Some of us took a walk on the approach and bought sweets and souvenirs.
On this one-day trip we enjoyed a whole spring day with our eyes, tongues, and bodies.
