今日（きょう）は旧暦（きゅうれき）の８月１５日でした。
日本（にほん）では、旧暦（きゅうれき）の８月１５日に、お団子（おだんご）とススキを飾（かざ）り、月（つき）を眺（なが）めて楽（たの）しむ「お月見（おつきみ）」という風習（ふうしゅう）があります。その日（ひ）のことを「十五夜（じゅうごや）」といいます。そして、その日（ひ）のお月（つき）さまのことを「中秋の名月（ちゅうしゅうのめいげつ）」といいます。
「わかば」でも、お団子（おだんご）とススキ、折り紙（おりがみ）でできたウサギを飾（かざ）りました。
日本語（にほんご）の勉強（べんきょう）が終（お）わってから、お月見（おつきみ）についてのお話（はなし）をして、みんなでお団子（おだんご）を食（た）べました。
月（つき）の影（かげ）が何（なん）の形（かたち）に見（み）えるか、国（くに）によっていろいろ違（ちが）っておもしろいですよ。
日本（にほん）は餅（もち）をつくウサギ、カナダ先住民（せんじゅうみん）はバケツを運（はこ）ぶ少女（しょうじょ）、北（きた）ヨーロッパは本（ほん）を読（よ）むおばあさん、南（みなみ）ヨーロッパは大（おお）きなハサミのカニ、東（ひがし）ヨーロッパは横向き（よこむき）の女性（じょせい）、バイキングは水（みず）をかつぐ男女（だんじょ）、ドイツは薪（まい）をかつぐ男（おとこ）、アラビアは吼（ほ）えているライオン、などです。
旧暦（きゅうれき）の１５日は満月（まんげつ）のことが多（おお）いのですが、少（すこ）しずれることもあります。今年（ことし）は、明後日（あさって）が満月（まんげつ）です。お天気（てんき）がよければ、きれいなお月（つき）さまを眺（なが）めることができます。(S.S)
Today was August 15 of the lunar calendar.
Japanese people enjoy viewing the beautiful moon on August 15 of the lunar calendar. It is called “otsukimi”. Fifteen balls of rice cake and Susuki : Japanese silver grass, enhance the mood
of “otsukimi”. The day is called “Juhgoya “: the fifteenth night, and the moon of the day is called “Chushu no Meigetsu” : the graceful moon of mid-Autumn.
At Wakaba, we arranged rice cake balls and Susuki, and an origami rabbit in the classroom.
There was a talk about “otsukimi” after Japanese studying time, and we enjoyed eating yummy rice cake balls.
It is interesting to learn what people saw in the shadows on the moon surface. The Japanese saw a rabbit pounding rice cake. The First Nations of Canada saw a girl carrying a bucket. The
Northern European saw an old lady reading a book. The Southern European saw a crab with big claws. The Eastern European saw profile of a woman. The Viking saw a man and a woman carrying water.
The Arabian saw a roaring lion. The German saw a man carrying fagot. …
We can see a full moon on the 15th of each month of the lunar calendar in the most cases, but there is some gap between the lunar calendar and the actual age of the moon. For that reason,
today’s moon isn’t full. We’ll be able to enjoy the graceful harvest moon the day after tomorrow, if the weather is good.(S.S)
今天是農暦的8月15日。
在日本有陳列团子和芒草来看月亮「賞月」的伝統習慣。
我們称這天為「十五夜」、而這天的月亮則被称為「中秋的名月」。
在「わかば」我們也陳列了团子和芒草、還陳列了一隻用紙折的白兎。
等日語学習時間結束之後、我們介紹了一点有関日本的「賞月」、
然後大家一起享用「賞月团子」。
有趣的是月亮的黒影看起来像什麼、毎個国家有不同的説法。
日本説是搗年糕的兎子、加拿大的原住民説是扛水桶的少女、
北欧説是在看書的老婆婆、南欧却説是有大剪子的螃蟹、
東欧則説是個女生側面的臉、海賊説是扛着水的男女、
德国説是扛着柴木的男人、阿拉伯却説是隻吼叫的獅子・・ 等等。
農暦的15日大多可以看得到満月、不過有時會稍微有偏差。
今年的滿月是後天、如果天氣好、就能看到美麗的月亮了。(Y.H)
